Dance, poetry, art and more: 91传媒 celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with fun events for all
Mississippi State鈥檚 Holmes Cultural Diversity Center and Latino Student Association are collaborating with other campus organizations to host free events in celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, running Sept. 15-Oct. 15.
91传媒鈥檚 month-long celebration encourages members of the Bulldog community to learn about the contributions of Hispanic and Latinx people on campus and across the country.
Events include a virtual poetry performance and the university's聽inaugural iBaile virtual Latin dance competition. 91传媒 Libraries will host a Hispanic Heritage Month exhibit at Mitchell Memorial Library featuring images from 91传媒 Special Collections,聽books by Mississippi State Latinx authors,聽and Spanish translations of works by Eudora Welty, Tennessee Williams聽and 91传媒 alumnus John Grisham, among others.
